Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora is created under The State Committee on Affairs with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan by the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 6, 2018.

Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora (FSAD) is a legal entity of public law, which provides the state support for promotion of the reforms and achievements which are carried out and reached in the Republic of Azerbaijan to international community, for protection of interests of the country, protection of national and moral values, their further development and introduction by World Azerbaijanis, implementation of the activities directed to the protection of the national and civil rights of Azerbaijanis who live abroad; strengthening of lobbyist activity, solution of social and economic, social and political, cultural and moral problems of the compatriots, implementation of social projects in this area and also for activity and consolidation of the organizations of the Azerbaijani diaspora.
