Free legal advice is provided to our compatriots living in Turkey

Taking into account a large number of representatives of our diaspora living in Turkey and the problems they face, from September 1 to December 31, 2020, a project entitled "Legal support to Azerbaijanis living in the Republic of Turkey" was implemented with the financial assistance of the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora.

The goal of the project is to provide our compatriots, temporarily or permanently residing, receiving education, engaged in labor activities in the territory of the Republic of Turkey, who arrived in Turkey for a short or long time, legal advice in various fields, sending them to the competent state authorities, informing them on migration issues and legal support organizations.

Within the framework of the project, 119 of our compatriots were provided with support in migration issues, in connection with which - also assist in providing them with "Medical Insurance." 26 of our compatriots were provided with legal advice in various directions, they were assisted in the preparation and receipt of relevant documents, contacting competent government agencies. In addition, numerous telephone conversations were held with our compatriots who faced legal difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, their questions were answered through social media platforms, and legal advice was provided. Our compatriots were provided with oral and written consultations and explanations on all types of legal issues by a lawyer, associate professor of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law of Ankara University, Laman Suleymanli. 

The Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora will ensure the continuous implementation of the project.
