Taking into account numerous requests and great interest of Azerbaijanis living abroad, the organizing committee of 2nd Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth “Nasimi 650” decided to extend the deadline of registration until April 15, 2019 at the meeting dated April 1, 2019.

The Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora under the State Committee on Affairs with Diaspora is pleased to invite young members of diaspora who lives abroad for participation at the 2nd Summer Camp of Azerbaijani Diaspora Youth. Summer Camp will take place in Shamakhy, Azerbaijan during 8th – 14th of July 2019.

Aim of the project: The Aim of the camp is to bring young Azerbaijani diaspora members together around the unique platform to get them acquainted with Azerbaijan, as well as help strengthen the bonds between Azerbaijan and the diaspora members. Second Youth Camp is dedicated to the 650th anniversary of the greatest Azerbaijani poet Imadaddin Nasimi.
Young people between the age of 18-29, capable of speaking and understanding Azerbaijani language as well as responsible for attending during the whole duration of the camp may apply for the camp. The participants of the first Azerbaijani Diaspora Youth Camp cannot apply for the camp again.

Activities: Visits to various historical and architectural monuments, meetings with officials and famous people, group discussions, entertainment and intellectual programs will be organized for participants during the camp. All participants of the project will be awarded with certificates.

Costs: Participation at the Second Summer Camp of Azerbaijani Diaspora Youth is free of charge. All the travel costs, (food, visa, accommodation, insurance and transportation) will be covered by the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora.

All applicants of the Second Summer Camp of Azerbaijani Diaspora Youth will be contacted by organization committee and will be invited for the video interview. The final results will be announced after completion of selection process.
