The Chairman of the State Committee on Diaspora Affairs Fuad Muradov and executive director of the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora Elshad Aliyev visited Georgia together with large delegation.

On April 3 in Marneuli, the State Committee on Diaspora Affairs, the Fund for  Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora, Georgia’s State Minister for Peace and Civilization Affairs Ketevan Tsixelashvili, ambassadors of Azerbaijan and Turkey Dursun Hasanov and Fatma Ceren Yazgan, deputies of Georgian Parliament, Mahir Darziyev and Azer Suleymanov , Savalan Mirzoyev, governor of Kvemo Kartli-Borchali region Shota Rexivashvili and other government officials, local intellectuals and public activists attended the grant opening ceremony of the Center for Integration of Georgian Azerbaijanis.

The presentation ceremony of the Fund of Support to the Azerbaijani Diaspora took place at the Center after the opening ceremony. Executive Director Elshad Aliyev spoke about the activities of the Fund, followed by displaying the presentation film and logo of the Foundation. He stated that the Fund would play a significant role in the implementation of projects of diaspora organizations, as well as individual project initiatives of our compatriots living abroad. Elshad Aliyev then answered questions about the Fund.
