The presentation of the Fund was held in Beijing, China, jointly organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the People's Republic of China and the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora.

The event was attended by the Advisor of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the People's Republic of China Ayyar Huseynov, First Secretary Samir Mammadov, Deputy Executive Director of the Fund Aytan Aliyeva, Coordinator of the Fund Zeynab Sabirli and about 40 diaspora representatives.

The Embassy's Advisor Ayyar Huseynov and First Secretary Samir Mammadov spoke about the efforts our country has made to address the problems of Azerbaijanis living abroad.

Aytan Aliyeva informed the event participants about the Fund's goals and activities. She expressed that the Fund will play an important role in the implementation of projects of the Diaspora organizations, as well as our individual compatriots living abroad and supporting their innovative ideas. Further discussions were held with the participants about future activities, and answered questions regarding the applications to the Fund.
