An event titled "Promotiion of Friendship Relations between Sweden and Azerbaijan" was held in Stockholm. The event, organized at the Scandic Continental Hotel, was organized with the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora.

Ulrika Nazimson, the business development expert, welcomed the guests and spoke about her activities and goals for the event. Afterwards, the first secretary of the Azerbaijani Embassy in the Kingdom of Sweden, Vagif Seyidbeyov, thanked Ulrika Nazimson for initiating and holding the event. The diplomat said that today it is one of the most important initiatives not only to educate and familiarize the country with the culture, history, traditions and beautiful nature of Azerbaijan, but also to show business and investment opportunities in Azerbaijan to Swedish businessmen.

Hainz Syogren, head and board member of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for Russia and CIS, stressed the importance of the presentation.

At the event, the leading specialist of the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora Khidir Kazimov informed the Azerbaijani Diaspora about the activities of the organization he represents. He said that the Fund was found last year by President Ilham Aliyev's decree, provides state support for the preservation of Azerbaijani culture, national-moral values and traditions in other countries, as well as the activities of Azerbaijanis living abroad and the implementation of various projects in the field of diaspora.
