The Coordination Council of Azerbaijanis living in Eastern Europe held a meeting in Budapest on October 26. At the event attended by the Chairman of the State Committee on Diaspora Affairs, Fuad Muradov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Hungary Vilayat Guliyev and many compatriots living and studying in Eastern Europe the presented of the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora was held.

Ibrahim Safarli, the leading specialist of the Fund for Support to Azerbaiajni Diaspora informed the participants about activities of the organization he represents. He said that the Foundation, found last year by President Ilham Aliyev's decree, provides state support for the preservation of Azerbaijani culture, national-moral values and traditions in other countries, as well as the activities of Azerbaijanis living abroad and the implementation of various projects in the field of diaspora.
