An event dedicated to the 650th anniversary of Imeddaddin Nasimi was held in Stockholm with the participation of the embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Sweden, scientists and cultural figures of Sweden, members of the media, local community, Azerbaijani and Turkish diaspora. The event was organized with the financial support of the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora and organized by the Public Association "For the sake of Azerbaijan". Siyavush Darekhti, a Swedish-Azerbaijani activist and Thomas Aachen Haraldson of Global Impact, made presentations about Azerbaijan. In his speech Nadir Hollenbrand, Chairman of “For the Sake of Azerbaijan”, spoke about the great influence of Imaddaddin Nasimi on Azerbaijani poetry and Eastern world. Then the event continued with the cultural and artistic acts.
