Delegation of the Fund for Support to the Azerbaijani Diaspora and the State Committee on Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited the Republic of Austria on November 12. The presentation of the Fund was held at the event attended by the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Austria Galib Israfilov, Consul General of Turkey in Vienna Asip Kaya, representatives of the Embassies of Turkic-speaking countries, Azerbaijani and Turkish Diaspora activists and Austrian public. At the event, the Executive Director of the Fund for Support to Azserbaijani Diaspora, Elshad Aliyev informed the Azerbaijani Diaspora about the activities of the organization he represents. He said that the Fund, found last year by President Ilham Aliyev's decree, provides state support for the preservation of Azerbaijani culture, national-moral values and traditions in other countries, as well as the activities of Azerbaijanis living abroad and the implementation of various projects in the field of diaspora.

During the visit, Elshad Aliyev and Deputy Executive Director Ayten Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony of a new office of the Organization of Azerbaijani-Turkish Culture and Businessmen in Vienna, Austria.
