On February 1-2, 2020, a meeting of Azerbaijani diaspora youth on the occasion of Youth Day organized by the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Azerbaijani Embassy to Austria held in Vienna. Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Austria Galib Israfilov, representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Fidan Yusibova, Executive Director of the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora Elshad Aliye, Deputy Executive Director Aytan Aliyeva and active members of the Azerbaijani diaspora spoke at the opening ceremony of the project. Within the framework of the project, the working groups will organize debates on “National identity and diaspora policy”, “Entrepreneurship and innovation”, “Cooperation and education”, as well as youth activities in the field of culture, tourism and sports. Azerbaijani young people from the US, Canada, Russia, Turkey, Israel, China, South Korea, Georgia and Europe attended the meeting.
