The State Committee on Work with  Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan jointly organized on 10.08.2020 an online conference on «The Role of Youth in the Activities of the Azerbaijani Diaspora».

The Executive Director of the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora, Elshad Aliyev, and the Deputy Executive Director of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Gadir Khalilov, addressed an event dedicated to International Youth Day.

In his statement, Elshad Aliyev said that the further development of the Azerbaijani diaspora through the organization of Azerbaijanis from all over the world, especially young people, is one of the priority directions, and various projects have been implemented in this direction.

They discussed the active participation of young people in the diaspora and made various proposals.

Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Turan Manafzadei, Head of the Azerbaijani House in Estonia Zahra Gahramanli, Vice President of the North American Union of Azerbaijani Youth Namig Agayev, Elman Manafov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Youth Organization within National-Cultural Autonomy of St. Petersburg Azerbaijanis and Tural Guliev, Doctor of the East China Pedagogical University addressed at the conference initiated by the Fund.

Hundreds of young people joined the conference, which was broadcast live on the Fund’s official website.
