On May 25, at the initiative of the Fund for Support to Azerbaijan Diaspora and the "YAŞAT" Foundation, a Charity Marathon will be organized to support families of martyrs and wounded in the Patriotic War.

Marathon will be broadcast on Azerbaijan State Television (AzTV) at 21.00 and will reach a wide audience.

During the Charity Marathon, held for the first time in the history of the Azerbaijani diaspora, the organization of direct inclusions is planned for communication with our compatriots and famous persons living in various countries, speeches by members of martyrs' families, heroes of the Patriotic War and veterans. They voice appeals for support for the activities of the "YAŞAT" Foundation, established to assist the families of the martyrs and wounded for the restoration of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

To ensure the compatriots' active participation, the marathon's Organizing Committee also addressed the Azerbaijanis of the world. The message reads as follows:

"Dear countrymen! The Azerbaijani State always pays tribute to the heroes who have become martyrs for the integrity of our territories, pays special attention to the care of the martyrs and Gazi families, and carries out consistent work aimed at solving their problems. Nevertheless, paying tribute to the memory of those who selflessly gave their lives, promoting the well-being of those who lost their health for the territorial integrity of our homeland is the patriotic duty of every one of us.

During the Patriotic War, Azerbaijanis worldwide, rallying closely around the "iron fist" once again proved the unity of the diaspora and the State. Based on this unity, the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora and the Foundation "YAŞAT" organize the Charity Marathon to support families of martyrs and wounded in the Patriotic War.

Participation in the Charity Marathon is a model of loyalty to the Motherland in the memory of our brave sons who left us their families. Confident that you will contribute to this holy cause, we call on all compatriots to demonstrate our unity once again in the marathon".
