After a long hiatus on 26-27 June 2021, our compatriots met in Istanbul.

On the first day of the event was held the II Meeting of the Coordination Councils of Azerbaijanis Living Abroad

Reports of the Coordination Councils on their activities to date have been heard.

On the occasion of the third anniversary of the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora, participants were presented with a video clip reflecting our activities during this period. The Executive Director of the Fund, Akram Abdullayev, staff members Khidir Kazimov and Zeynab Sabirli, informed the participants about the establishment of the Fund and its main activities, application forms, project implementation and accountability. The event continued on the basis of an exchange of views and responses to questions from participants were provided. Also on the occasion of the 880th anniversary of the birth of Nizami Ganjavi, an eminent representative of world literature, a brilliant Azerbaijani poet and thinker, the music album «ETERNITY» prepared with the financial support of the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora was presented to our compatriots.

The event continued with a concert dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the Azerbaijani Army.
